Hawkesbury Local History Society is pleased to announce the launch of its first publication:

HAWKESBURY CHRONICLES    972-1899AD

A volume of over 300 pages illustrating life in the past in and around Hawkesbury parish, using datable documents and records.

Introductory chapters include the pre-history and archaeology of the area. There are comprehensive contents pages, explanatory notes throughout, and over 400 illustrations, including maps, drawings and photographs (old and new). Hawkesbury Chronicles concludes with an index of over 2,000 names.
